Start by accepting that your first SUB5 run is for learning. Your immediate goal is to raise Height, Face, and Frame while lowering Bodyfat, then win a manageable Mog Battle without risking more progress than you understand. The official game description confirms those four comparisons and the pickup that changes each one.
Finish the opening and read MY STATS
Complete the attribute choice and every tutorial prompt on screen. Community walkthroughs show normal features unlocking after the short tutorial, including the code interface. Do not skip text that explains the current controls: menu locations can change, and the live prompt is more reliable than an older screenshot.
Open MY STATS as soon as the tutorial allows it. Record the four labels and their current direction. Height, Face, and Frame are built upward. Water lowers Bodyfat, so a lower Bodyfat value is the intended improvement according to the official description. Avoid assuming that the numerically largest stat always wins; the exact battle formula is not public.
Learn the four-pickup loop
Milk
Changes: Height
Direction: Grow taller
Use: Collect when Height trails your other battle comparisons.
Official mappingHammer
Changes: Face
Direction: Improve Face
Use: Include it in every balanced circuit instead of farming only visible size.
Official mappingPicture Frame
Changes: Frame
Direction: Build Frame
Use: Check the stat after pickup so you recognize the current icon and effect.
Official mappingWater
Changes: Bodyfat
Direction: Lower Bodyfat
Use: Do not neglect it just because its improvement moves downward.
Official mappingMake a compact circuit that touches all four types, then check MY STATS. Correct the weakest comparison on the next lap. Public servers can have other players collecting the same objects, so use item types and landmarks rather than relying on a fixed spawn-by-spawn route.
Claim free help in the right order
Check Daily Reward and Play Time Rewards after the tutorial. A recent community walkthrough also shows a FREE GIFT with social conditions; read the current panel before completing any action. Then open Codes and redeem the Lucky Spin strings first. Save the 30-minute progress rewards until your route is ready.
The reason is simple: timers are useful while you are moving, not while you are reading menus. The official listing does not say whether a boost pauses on death, rejoin, or disconnect. Plan as though it keeps running. If you only have a few minutes, save the timed code for another session.
Take your first Mog Battle safely
The official description allows battles against NPCs and real players. Choose a visibly labeled NPC for the first test. Before contact, reopen MY STATS, note any active boost, and decide how much progress you are willing to lose. Community footage reports that walking into a valid target can start a comparison, but follow the current challenge prompt rather than colliding with every character.
Watch all four result rows. A strong Height result does not prove Face, Frame, and Bodyfat are sufficient. If you lose, return to your loop and fix the named weak comparisons. If you win, the game gives you a fate choice.
SPARE lets the defeated target keep the run. MOG erases the defeated run and awards MogPoints, according to the developer description. Recent guides also report that MOG can capture a defeated NPC for your base. Use SPARE in a friendly-player agreement; use MOG on a defeated NPC when you deliberately want the currency and capture loop.
Put the first MogPoints to work
Return to your base or plot after a successful MOG. Community walkthroughs show a CAPTURED MOGGERS menu, earning pads, Manage, and Auto Equip Best. Assign the captured NPC if the current interface offers those controls and watch whether the MogPoint balance starts changing.
Before spending, compare two paths. The MOGSCORE SHOP is community-reported as a permanent EXP-gain track for each basic stat. ROLL ABILITY uses MogPoints for random abilities. Permanent pickup value is easier to plan than a random roll, so inspect the permanent option first—especially while you are still learning recovery. Do not assume an ability survives MOG or Prestige unless the current text says so.
Recover after being MOGGED
If another player wins and chooses MOG, pause before running back. Check which stats reset, which currencies remain, whether captured earners are still assigned, whether permanent upgrade levels remain, and whether an ability or Genetics choice survived. The official description says progress is erased, but it does not define every saved field.
Claim any available passive MogPoints, then rebuild one balanced circuit. Avoid the same opponent until your full comparison improves. If a battle cooldown appears, let it finish while collecting away from the crowded area. The Permanent Upgrades guide explains the community-documented saved growth track.
When to think about Prestige
Recent gameplay guides show Prestige under RANKS, activated with ASCEND. They report a stat reset in exchange for stronger later progression, but the exact requirement, bonus, and saved fields need the live preview. Do not press ASCEND simply because the button appears.
Consider it when ordinary pickup gains feel slow, NPC wins are consistent, passive MogPoints are established, and the preview clearly explains the trade. Before confirming, read the Prestige guide and record every resource you care about.
Watch a current first-look route
This walkthrough is useful for seeing the game’s interface and opening loop. Match any button or menu to your own current server before acting, because the video was published during the August 2026 launch period.
First-run checklist
- Verify the Place ID and creator before joining.
- Finish the opening tutorial and locate MY STATS.
- Learn Milk → Height, Hammer → Face, Picture Frame → Frame, Water → lower Bodyfat.
- Claim free rewards, then redeem codes in an order that protects timed boosts.
- Build all four comparisons before selecting an NPC battle.
- Read the complete result and choose SPARE or MOG deliberately.
- Return to the base, assign any capture, and compare permanent upgrades with random rolls.
- Recheck saved fields after any MOG or ASCEND instead of trusting a universal reset list.
Once this loop feels predictable, move to Progression for faster growth or Battles before challenging players.
Evidence note
The pickup mapping, battle targets, four comparisons, MOG/SPARE results, and current codes are official. Menu routes, captured earners, MOGSCORE SHOP, and ASCEND behavior are community reported from a current August 2026 walkthrough and guide; update-sensitive values still need confirmation in the live server.
