Agartha Mog or Die Genetics Guide

Choose Agartha Mog or Die Genetics by the current run goal, compare live effect text, use extra choices carefully, and test reset persistence.

The first-party root-place description says players choose unique Genetics for every run. Roblox’s official pass catalog also listed +1 GENETICS CHOICE at 49 Robux on September 5, 2026. No reliable public pool, odds, or complete effect list is available, so choose from the live cards by your current run goal rather than an invented tier list.

Read every offered card

Finish the opening prompts and wait for the Genetics choice to appear. Read the exact name, effect, affected stat or system, duration, condition, and any tradeoff. Do not select from color or name alone.

If the cards use game-specific terms, compare them with MY STATS, MogPoints, Captured Moggers, or the current battle UI. Preserve the official term when no translation or explanation appears. A “trait” in a community discussion may refer to Genetics, but it should not be treated as a separate system without a live label.

Record the normal number of choices before considering the paid extra-choice pass. The product name supports one additional option; it does not establish the base choice count or better odds.

Choose for the run’s immediate job

Balanced pickup run

Prefer an effect whose live text helps the stat that repeatedly trails, movement through the four-item circuit, or collection consistency.

NPC and capture run

Prefer a clearly stated battle or recovery benefit only after the full four-stat sheet is balanced. Confirm it applies to NPC comparisons.

Passive MogPoint run

Select an economy effect only if the card explicitly names MogPoints, Captured Moggers, pads, or the relevant income source.

Prestige rebuild

Value early collection and repeatability. Confirm whether the choice is renewed or removed after ASCEND.

This is a decision guide, not a claim that each category has a specific Genetics name. Use only the cards the current server offers.

Compare two choices fairly

Translate each card into one testable sentence: “This should change Height pickup gain,” “this should reduce travel between items,” or “this should affect an NPC comparison.” If you cannot state the job from the text, choose the clearer option or wait.

Use the same route and one ordinary pickup when checking a collection effect. Use the same NPC class and comparable four stats when checking a battle effect. Keep Ability, permanent levels, and timed boosts unchanged.

Do not call a result stronger because it produces a bigger animation. Measure the displayed stat, balance, trigger, or result that the card names.

Genetics and the four stats

Height, Face, Frame, and Bodyfat are official battle comparisons. If a Genetics card targets one, ask whether that field is currently weak. Milk builds Height, Hammers improve Face, Picture Frames build Frame, and Water lowers Bodyfat.

An effect that accelerates an already comfortable Height value may have less practical value than help for a weak Bodyfat comparison. Reopen MY STATS after the selection and adjust the route.

Do not infer that every Genetics option directly changes these stats. Some may interact with another system, and unsupported fields should remain unknown until the live card explains them.

Genetics versus Ability rolls

The first-party description presents Genetics and Abilities separately. Current community guides show ROLL ABILITY spending MogPoints. Do not spend currency or Lucky Spins while assuming they reroll Genetics.

Keep a useful Ability stable when testing a new Genetics choice. If both affect collection, run one unboosted circuit and attribute only the change supported by the card text. The Abilities List documents known rolls without mixing the pools.

Should you buy +1 GENETICS CHOICE?

The official pass snapshot showed product ID 1927939881, for sale at 49 Robux. Confirm the ID, creator group, and live price in Roblox before buying. Prices and sale state can change.

Play at least one normal run first. Count the free choices, read their effect depth, and decide how often a third or additional option would change your selection. An extra option has value when it improves decision quality; it does not guarantee a particular Genetics result.

Check persistence and purchase scope. The pass should be tied to the account entitlement, but the extra choice may still be presented per run. Follow the current product description and never buy twice because a menu loads slowly.

Test MOG and ASCEND boundaries

Because the official wording says “for every run,” expect to choose again when a run truly resets, but do not invent which event creates that boundary. Record the selected Genetics name and effect before an ordinary loss, MOG, death, and ASCEND as those events occur naturally.

After each boundary, reopen the Genetics panel. Check whether the effect remains, a new selection appears, or choices are locked. Test one boundary at a time so you know what caused the change.

Do not risk a developed player run just to confirm persistence. Use a short NPC-focused run or the first planned Prestige.

Common Genetics mistakes

  • Using an unrelated Roblox game’s trait pool or rarity names.
  • Treating “traits” as a separate canonical feature when the current UI says Genetics.
  • Buying +1 GENETICS CHOICE before knowing the normal selection.
  • Choosing from color or name instead of effect text.
  • Testing Genetics and a new Ability under a timed boost at the same time.
  • Assuming the choice survives MOG or ASCEND because the pass entitlement is permanent.
  • Calling one result “best” without a complete pool or stable comparison criteria.

Quick answers

What are Genetics? The developer describes them as unique choices for every run. Exact names and effects must be read in the current client.

Are Genetics the same as Abilities? No. The first-party description lists them separately, and current guides show Abilities in their own roll menu.

What does the gamepass do? Its official name is +1 GENETICS CHOICE. It was 49 Robux in the September 5 snapshot; base choices and odds are not published.

Which Genetics is best? Choose the live effect that solves the current run’s bottleneck. There is not enough verified data for an exhaustive ranking.
