Mog Battles are the point where a collection run becomes a risk decision. The developer says NPCs and real players compare Face, Frame, Height, and Bodyfat. A winner chooses SPARE, which preserves the defeated run, or MOG, which erases progress and awards MogPoints. Extended features include Captured Moggers, the server’s MOG KING, and bounty hunting, but their exact thresholds and rewards need the current live interface.

Choose the right battle guide

Prepare the full comparison

Open MY STATS and read Height, Face, Frame, and Bodyfat. Milk raises Height, Hammers improve Face, Picture Frames build Frame, and Water lowers Bodyfat. Do not let a visually large character or one strong number hide a weak comparison.

The official description does not publish the winning formula. Current community footage reports separate result calls for the four qualities, which makes balanced preparation sensible but does not prove that every round uses a simple majority. Treat the live matchup and result screen as the authority.

Before accepting a player challenge, record active progress timers, Ability, Genetics, MogPoints, and anything you are unwilling to lose. Move away from an event reward, Mog Drop, or rare pickup if the fight can interrupt claiming it. A strong sheet does not remove the cost of a bad click after the result.

Learn on NPCs before players

NPCs let you observe battle presentation without another person deliberately targeting a weak run. Choose a clearly labeled NPC that the interface allows you to challenge. Community walkthroughs report that approaching or touching a valid target can begin the comparison; follow the current prompt and do not assume every non-player character is battle-ready.

Read all four result lines. If you lose, return to the exact weak pickup rather than collecting randomly. If you win, decide whether the session goal is a safe test, MogPoints, or a capture. Use SPARE when you do not want to erase the target’s run. Use MOG when the destructive result and currency reward are intentional.

Player battles add social and strategic risk. Agree on SPARE before a friendly comparison, but remember the winner still controls the final choice. In an open server, a high bounty, MOG KING marker, crowded pickup cluster, or known strong player is a reason to inspect before engaging.

Understand SPARE and MOG

SPARE is officially described as letting the defeated target keep the run. It is the appropriate choice for a practice matchup, a friendly server, or a win where the currency reward is not worth destroying another player’s progress.

MOG is officially described as erasing the defeated run and giving the winner MogPoints. The description does not define whether every stat, currency, roll, capture, or permanent level is removed. Never promise a complete wipe list without observing the current result.

Community guides also report that MOG captures defeated NPCs. That connection matters: an NPC win can create an immediate reward and a passive earner. Follow the live CAPTURED MOGGERS panel to verify the capture arrived.

Turn captures into passive MogPoints

Return to your plot or base after an intentional NPC MOG. Current guides show CAPTURED MOGGERS, a Manage control, earning pads, and Auto Equip Best. Assign an NPC to an open pad, close the menu, and watch the MogPoint balance while you collect elsewhere.

If the balance does not move, check whether the pad is empty, the selection saved, earnings require collection, or the server is still loading. Do not fill a guide with a guessed per-minute rate; use the displayed change and time interval from your own server.

Captures let active stat farming and currency farming happen together. Use the currency for clearly described permanent upgrades before gambling the entire balance on rolls. Captured Moggers gives a full assignment and recovery route.

Approach the MOG KING objective

The first-party root-place description advertises becoming the server’s MOG KING. It does not publish the transfer rule or reward. Find an explicit crown, holder name, leaderboard row, announcement, or objective prompt in the current server. Do not treat the largest avatar as the King without a label.

Prepare all four stats, inspect the holder’s displayed information, and use a run you can afford to lose for the first attempt. Follow the current objective rather than cycling through guesses. If ownership changes, record the exact trigger, fate choice, time, and any visible reward separately.

Because the wording is server-specific, do not assume the title survives rejoin or server closure. MOG KING focuses on finding, taking, and defending the current server role.

Hunt or avoid bounties

The official root-place description also advertises hunting players with large bounties. A bounty is a target signal, not proof that your four-stat comparison is favorable. Read the current amount, target marker, settlement condition, and any loss warning before following.

Separate three possible outcomes: normal MOG reward, bounty reward, and MOG KING change. Record balances and markers before and after the encounter. Without that separation, a single MogPoint increase cannot prove which system paid it.

If you are carrying an active boost or valuable run, use bounty information defensively. Avoid the target’s route, leave crowded entrances, and postpone the hunt. Bounties provides a safe approach and settlement checklist.

Recover from a loss

After being MOGGED, reopen MY STATS and every saved system before collecting. Confirm which run stats changed, whether permanent MOGSCORE levels remain, whether Captured Moggers are still assigned, and whether Ability, Genetics, Lucky Spins, or MogPoints survived. The official phrase “erase their progress” is not a field-by-field save specification.

Do not immediately re-challenge. Community guides report a cooldown, and the same unfavorable matchup remains. Claim passive income if available, fix the named weak comparison, and choose another NPC to rebuild confidence.

Battle mistakes that cost runs

  • Choosing an opponent from visual size instead of all four comparisons.
  • Accepting a challenge while a timed reward is active and menus are open.
  • Clicking MOG automatically in a friendly matchup.
  • Assuming SPARE gives the winner the same currency or capture as MOG.
  • Leaving a captured NPC unassigned while expecting passive earnings.
  • Treating the King crown, bounty, and ordinary MOG reward as one system.
  • Repeating a lost matchup before correcting the weak stat.

Confidence and change notes

The core four-stat comparison, NPC/player targets, SPARE result, MOG result, and MogPoint reward are official. Captured Mogger menu operations are community corroborated by current walkthroughs. MOG KING and bounty existence comes from a first-party place description, but transfer, thresholds, settlement, persistence, and reward values still require live confirmation.

Use Stats before a serious matchup and Permanent Upgrades before risking a run built mostly from temporary growth.
