Agartha Mog or Die uses three choice systems that should not be collapsed into one: Abilities are rolled through a current menu, Genetics are selected for a run, and Lucky Spins are a reward named by official codes. Public evidence does not provide a complete pool or reliable odds, so this hub focuses on the known choices, their distinct resources, and how to avoid replacing a useful effect blindly.

Keep the three systems separate

The first-party root-place description says players can unlock and roll powerful Abilities and choose unique Genetics for every run. The current universe description lists codes that award Lucky Spins. Those sentences establish three feature names, but they do not prove that Lucky Spins roll Abilities or Genetics.

Current community walkthroughs show a ROLL ABILITY menu that spends MogPoints and a slot-selection step. Use that route only for Abilities. When spending a Lucky Spin, follow the menu that explicitly displays the Lucky Spin balance. When choosing Genetics, read the current run-choice prompt.

Separating the currencies prevents an expensive mistake. A MogPoint roll, a code-granted spin, and an extra Genetics option can have different persistence and replacement rules even if all three present random choices.

Currently documented Abilities

Magnet

Type: Ability shown in current community guides.

Reported effect: Pulls nearby collectibles toward the player.

Best use: Widen a known Milk, Hammer, Picture Frame, and Water route without precise contact.

Source confidence: Community reported; exact range, rarity, and persistence unset.

Clone Collector

Type: Name shown in the current roll pool.

Reported effect: Not described reliably enough to state here.

Best use: Read the live effect card before deciding whether to equip or replace.

Source confidence: Community reported name only; rarity, odds, and persistence unset.

This is a currently documented index, not a complete list. The Abilities List keeps verification status beside every known entry and explains how to evaluate a new result.

Roll only after funding the permanent base

MogPoints are officially earned when a battle winner chooses MOG and are listed in one official code reward. Current guides show the same currency used in ROLL ABILITY. Random rolls can speed a route, but early currency also buys community-documented permanent pickup-gain upgrades.

Build a saved baseline first. If Hammers or Water remain the route bottleneck, a permanent gain level provides a predictable benefit. Roll when you have enough passive or battle income to accept a result that does not fit the current goal.

Choose the slot carefully. Record the current Ability and its exact text before pressing ROLL. If a confirmation offers keep, replace, or cancel, decide from displayed effects rather than rarity color alone.

Choose Genetics for the run you are playing

Because the first-party wording says Genetics are chosen “for every run,” treat them as potentially run-scoped until the live UI says otherwise. Read all offered cards. Match one to the immediate plan: balanced pickups, passive MogPoints, NPC battles, player risk, Risk Zones, or a Prestige rebuild.

Do not select from an unverified tier list. The full option pool, stat weights, stacking, and reroll rules are not public. A Genetics effect that helps Height may be poor when Bodyfat is losing every comparison.

The official game-pass catalog listed +1 GENETICS CHOICE at 49 Robux on September 5, 2026. The name indicates an extra choice, but it does not publish the normal choice count, odds, or whether the option can repeat. Complete a free selection before judging that purchase.

Protect Lucky Spins

The official codes tyfor1.5klikes and extracode were each listed with 3 Lucky Spins. Redemption was not live-tested. Redeem one code, verify the spin counter changes, and locate the menu that explicitly consumes that counter.

Read the pool, result, slot, and replace rules before spending. If the UI does not identify what Lucky Spins roll, keep the balance. Do not assume they are bonus ROLL ABILITY attempts merely because both systems use random outcomes.

Use Lucky Spins for code order, balance checks, and failure recovery.

Evaluate an effect in one repeatable route

Test a collection effect on the same four-pickup circuit with the same permanent levels and no progress timer. Test a battle effect against the same NPC class with comparable four stats. Change one system at a time: Ability, Genetics, or temporary item.

Record what the effect says, when it triggers, what visible field changes, and whether it has a cooldown. A dramatic animation is not proof of better collection or battle value. Likewise, a high rarity color does not prove an effect fits the current route.

After being MOGGED or using ASCEND, check the Ability, Genetics, and Lucky Spin balance separately. Their persistence can differ. Do not use one surviving field to claim all random systems are permanent.

Build choices by player goal

Pickup route: value collection radius, movement, or the exact lagging stat. Magnet is currently documented for this goal, but verify its live text.

Passive economy: keep Captured Moggers assigned and select only an effect whose text explicitly changes their income or assignment. Do not infer this from an economy-themed name.

NPC farming: prioritize a result the current card says improves the four-way comparison or recovery. Test against a known NPC before a player.

Competitive run: value reliability and saved progress over an unknown roll. Record the result before entering a bounty or King fight.

Prestige rebuild: choose effects that help the early collection loop, then confirm whether they survive ASCEND or must be selected again.

Common mistakes

  • Calling Lucky Spins, Ability rolls, and Genetics choices the same resource.
  • Spending all MogPoints before buying any clearly permanent growth.
  • Replacing a useful Ability without recording its effect.
  • Treating a color, animation, or pass name as proof of rarity or odds.
  • Publishing a complete tier list from two documented names.
  • Testing multiple effects under a timed progress boost and attributing the gain to one.
  • Assuming an effect survives both MOG and ASCEND without checking.

Evidence boundary

Abilities and per-run Genetics are first-party feature claims; Lucky Spins and the two official reward codes are first-party current listings. ROLL ABILITY, Magnet, and Clone Collector are community reported from a current August 2026 walkthrough. Exact pools, costs, rarities, odds, pity, slot counts, effects, and persistence remain live-game fields.

Continue to Items when you need the pickup and currency side of the build, or Progression to decide whether saved upgrades should come before another roll.
