Items drive both halves of Agartha Mog or Die. Milk, Hammers, Picture Frames, and Water shape the four stats compared in Mog Battles. MogPoints fund longer-term decisions. The first-party root-place description also names rare Golden collectibles and contested Mog Drops, but their exact variants, values, schedules, and ownership rules need the current server.

Item and currency routes

The official four-pickup Dex

Item
Type
Effect
Use it when
Milk
Ordinary map pickup
Raises Height
Height trails the other battle comparisons.
Hammer
Ordinary map pickup
Improves Face
Face is weak or Hammer opportunities are sparse.
Picture Frame
Ordinary map pickup
Builds Frame
Frame loses comparisons or lags the route.
Water
Ordinary map pickup
Lowers Bodyfat
Bodyfat needs improvement in the downward direction.

These mappings come from the current official universe description. It does not publish ordinary increments, spawn maps, caps, or whether two players can claim the same instance. The Items List shows how to measure those live fields safely.

Build an adaptable pickup circuit

Start from your plot or another unmistakable safe landmark. Locate one example of each ordinary item, collect the loop, and check MY STATS. Add a branch for the weak comparison instead of waiting at a contested spawn.

Public servers change the route. Other players may collect ahead of you, world events may shift attention, and movement aids may alter reach. Use item type plus landmark rather than a precise coordinate that can become stale.

Community guides report Magnet as an Ability that pulls nearby collectibles and Rocket Shoes as a temporary movement pickup. If the live text agrees, use these on a known route. Do not assume Magnet collects Golden variants or Mog Drops until you observe that exact interaction.

Understand MogPoints as a separate resource

MogPoints are not one of the four run stats. The official description says a battle winner earns them by choosing MOG and lists tyfor300likes with 2,500 MogPoints. Current guides also report passive earnings from Captured Moggers.

Community documentation shows MogPoints spent on the MOGSCORE SHOP’s permanent pickup-gain levels and ROLL ABILITY. Before spending, check whether the current menu marks a benefit permanent, random, run-scoped, or update-sensitive.

Keep a before-and-after balance when testing a battle, capture, bounty, King reward, or gamepass multiplier. Multiple systems can pay at once. MogPoints separates each source and sink.

Recognize Golden collectibles without inventing a table

The first-party root-place description says rare Golden collectibles exist, and the official catalog listed a 2x Golden Luck pass. Those claims do not reveal a complete variant list, location, base chance, multiplier calculation, or reward.

Identify a Golden object from an explicit name, pickup prompt, inventory entry, or clearly distinct version of a known item. Record the relevant stat or balance before and after. Compare with an ordinary version under the same active effects.

Do not estimate rarity from color alone. An event highlight, temporary effect, or decorative gold object may not be a collectible. Use Golden Collectibles for the identification and safe-claim route.

Approach Mog Drops as contested objectives

“Fight over Mog Drops” is the first-party feature wording. It establishes competition but not the appearance schedule, map location, reward, ownership, or whether ordinary Mog Battles control the claim.

When a live announcement or marker appears, read it before moving. Note the location, remaining time, entry condition, player concentration, and the run value you could lose. Scout an exit and close menus. If the objective opens a separate interaction, follow it rather than assuming touching the object is enough.

After claiming, read the reward popup and check inventory, MogPoints, stats, and any other named field. Do not publish a drop list from one result. Mog Drops gives the full contest checklist.

Choose items by session goal

First run: collect all four ordinary types and ignore rare distractions until the battle sheet is understood.

Timed progress: use a known ordinary route. Avoid learning a Mog Drop or Risk Zone while a 30-minute boost runs.

Permanent growth: farm MogPoints through manageable MOG wins and assigned captures, then improve the pickup track that limits the route.

Ability testing: use one ordinary item as the baseline. Hold Genetics, timers, and permanent levels constant.

Competitive session: keep the sheet balanced and decide whether a Golden item or Mog Drop is worth entering player traffic.

Persistence and ownership checks

The public descriptions do not state whether map pickups are personal or shared, whether MogPoints survive MOG and ASCEND, or whether Golden and Mog Drop rewards persist through rejoin. Check one boundary at a time on a low-value run.

For ordinary pickups, observe whether another player can remove the object and whether it respawns. For currency, record the balance before and after a reset. For rare rewards, identify the inventory destination before leaving the server.

Do not confuse a temporary effect with a saved item. A timer in the HUD should be treated separately from inventory and permanent shop levels.

Common item mistakes

  • Farming only Milk because Height is visually obvious.
  • Treating higher Bodyfat as better despite Water’s official lower direction.
  • Waiting at one empty spawn instead of adapting the route.
  • Calling a gold-colored prop a Golden collectible without a prompt or result.
  • Assuming 2x Golden Luck reveals or doubles a specific percentage.
  • Running into a Mog Drop crowd while a valuable timer or unbalanced run is active.
  • Mixing passive MogPoints, MOG rewards, bounties, and drop rewards in one balance change.

Evidence boundary

The basic four items and mappings, MogPoints, and current code reward are confirmed by the current official universe description. Golden collectibles and Mog Drops are named in the first-party root-place description. Captured Mogger income, MogPoint shops, Magnet, and Rocket Shoes are community reported. Exact values and routes remain live-server details.

Continue with Progression for a full run plan or World before following an event or rare-object marker into an unknown area.
